Hi everyone,
I know we've all been busily installing iTunes 4.2. However, I wanted to know the bugs that everyone has discovered. To start the ball rolling.... - If your taskbar is set to auto-hide, when iTunes is maximized, you are unable to access the taskbar without pressing the Windows key or Ctrl-Esc. |

Every time I start iTunes 4.2, it displays a warning dialog: "Your drive's AutoRun setting is turned off..."
I don't want to enable CD autoplay and I want to get rid of this dialog. Couldn't find anything in the settings to solve this. Any ideas? -Hege- |

The always on top Sidekick plug in no longer works.
![]() I just found that you can toggle it on under visualize. But you then turn visualize off. I use both and don't want to toggle the switch ever time. Is there a way to have both active? Last edited by Willaim; 12-18-2003 at 08:35 PM. |

* Maxmize itunes (which now works). Now try to bring another window to the foreground using Windows taskbar. Can't be done. I think they call that a z-ordering issue.
* Soundcheck doesn't disable, even though I have turned it off * Soundcheck competes for system resources with other functionality like retagging--expect it to only soundcheck in background, assuming its enabled in the first place (not necessarily a bug but a bad design decision) * On the plus side, Nero encoded m4a audio now works! (gapless tag in mpeg4 container bug). |

Anyone else getting the following behavior:
I start playing tracks and when I minimize itunes the songs start to skip or sound very scratchy. Maximizing or switching to "mini player" seems to work fine though. edit: okay this problem seemed to go away when I rebooted

I know this has probably been touched on but I haven't been to the boards in awhile. I get a cd to be recognized in iTunes when it's inserted but when I eject it, the cd stays open in iTunes. It only clears if I close and reopen.
If I put another cd in (while the other one is still showing), it won't play unless I manually click on it from the My Computer screen. Sorry if this has been discussed at length. Thanks for insight.
