Network Connection Reset

I have been using itunes 7 for a week or so now, and i still can't get it to update purchased music from the store, podcasts or the ipod update. All i get is that the network connection has been reset (within seconds). I can get into all of the itunes store with no problem at all.

I have tried opening up ports on my router (Netgear DG834G), turning of my software firewall and antivirus. Nothing seems to works.
