Transfer music to itunes from an ipod?

Can you put the music from your ipod onto a different computer, that is not your usual library computer. Like from an ipod that was uploaded using a Mac and dump the music into and itunes on a PC? is this possible? please help! thanks!

Absolutely, and if you search through the forums you'll find many answers to this question.

With the exception of iTunes-Store-purchased music in iTunes 7, iTunes itself will not do this for you. There are a number of third-party tools available that you can find in our Software Downloads section, or you can just access the iPod in "Disk Mode" (ie, as a drive through Windows Explorer), and find the hidden \iPod_Control\Music directory that contains all of your music files. They won't be organized in any meaningful file/folder structure on the iPod, but the internal tags are all intact and can therefore be sorted out by re-importing them into iTunes (which will reorganize the file structure based on internal tags).

The only issue you might have if you're going from a Mac to a PC is that a Mac-formatted iPod cannot be read on a PC without the use of additional software such a MacDrive.
