My iTunes won't come up

I just upgraded to the newest version of iTunes and now it doesn't come up when I click on it and its very irritating!!!

What do you mean by it "doesn't come up"? Do you mean the application doesn't launch?

Try doing a clean un-install/re-install. This means booting into Safe Mode, using the Add/Remove Programs Applet in the Control Panel, manually deleteing any remaining iTunes related files and folders, using a Registry Cleaner (download a free trial version of TuneUp if you don't already have one), rebooting and reinstalling a fresh, clean copy of iTunes.

There's really no telling what iTunes will do next. It shouldn't delete your music, but s--t, who really knows?! Have you considered making backup of your music files, say for instance to a secondary hard drive, CD or DVD?

All I can suggest for now is what's in my previous post.

I just went back down to 6.0.1.3 and it started working

How do you go back to 6.0.1.3 if Itunes wont come up?

You don't. This is a 4 year old thread. You may be able to find 6.0.1.3 but it won't connect to the store and if you don't have a library from that version or earlier you can't get it to load.

Try starting a new thread with any error messages you are seeing, what your system is and what versions of iTunes and operating system you have.

We'll go from there.
