I use itunes with my ipod, but I also want to be able to create a small playlist that I can sync onto a 1gb memory stick. Is there any addon software that will do this?

dunno about add-on software, but easiest way is to:
open up windows explorer select your flash drive drag/drop your playlist from iTunes into relevant directory OK, so you won't get auto-syncing, but it's a way to transfer a playlist nonetheless.
