international itunes music cards?

Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Hi, I've never used a prepaid card so I'm not sure how this works. I heard that I can't buy from an iTMS (iTunes Music Store) if I don't have a credit card that matches the store's country. If I had an itunes music card instead from that country rather than a credit card, would I be able to buy from that country's store, or would apple send out an e-mail to me saying "h4r h4r h4r, you've just squandered 2,500 yen!"...? Also, if I had credit cards from multiple countries, would I be able to buy from multiple stores?

You would need an approriate country billing address as well with the credit cards.

on the subject of the cards, you would likely have to make a brand new Apple ID in each country and use "Redeem card" as your first step to do so to prevent having to enter in any credit card information. Weather or not you'll be able to get past any "address" information, I'm not sure. I know during the original pepsi promotion for iTunes foreign buyers were able to make an ID that didn't need credit card informatin and were able to redeem some codes they had gotten there hands on...

You won't know until you try, though, but it will difinitely require multiple accounts.
