Hey guys
Sorry if this thread already exists and sorry for my shabby english skills ![]() I own a PC and a laptop, both running with Windows 7. My PC owns the "perfect" iTunes library, that means, it's here where i add new music, synchronize my iPod and change interprets and so on. But now, I want my laptop to have the exact same iTunes library like my PC. I have access to my PC with my laptop through the home-net, but as some of you know, iTunes only has an "Import" button. So, if I, for example, delete anything on the PC, its not going to be deleted on the laptop. Its my target to synchronize my laptop like my iPod: They should both have exactly the same Songs on them like the PC. Thanks for your help

Your best bet is to use Home Sharing.
Let your laptop use the library from your PC then all your changes will be seen on the laptop too. Only 1 library to maintain.

That would be easy, but I need two librarys. I'm gonna live at two different places soon and need to have the music on the laptop too. So I hope that I can always synchronize my Laptop with the PC when I'm back home, and then return to my other place, with the new music on my laptop.

I'm in exactly the same situation; Desktop w/master iTunes; laptop taken on travel/trips where I'd like to have my full iTunes. There is no automated way of doing what you want.
What I've done is to occasionally delete the iTunes directory from the laptop & then copy my whole iTunes directory structure from the Desktop to the laptop. This will copy all of the music files plus the iTunes Library.itl file. This will make the laptop exactly match the desktop; - any files that have been deleted on the desktop will not be on the laptop - any new files on the desktop will be on the laptop - the laptop will have the same playlists as the desktop It's a pain, not automatic, and takes a looooong time for the copy, but the laptop is in sync with the desktop for a while.
