Can I change the autoplay app on my iPod touch?

Hi,

I use my iPod touch to listen to audiobooks in my car. (I did load music on it when I purchased it.) The problem is that it isn't consistent in restarting my audio book application when I restart the car. About 15% of the time the music app auto starts instead. My expectation is that the application playing when I turn off the radio or kill the engine is the app that autostarts when I turn over the engine. This seems to be something that Apple "fixed" with one of the later iOs updates. Is there a way to set the primary autoplay application? Or turn autoplay off all together? Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks for any help

The autoplay feature is probably coming from the car, and it is probably trying to play the last app used, and if 15% of the time the audiobook app is not responding quick enough, the Music app is started.

You can delete the Music App off of the iPod Touch. See if that helps.

Thanks. I'll try again to delete the music app.
