Hello... I need help. I will be as brief as possible about the problem.
1. I purchased a used iPod touch (not sure of generation). 2. iTunes never recognised it. Had it de-authourised. All ok. 3. Main computer has died. Secondary computer recognises it as a camera?! 4. My iPod classic was recognised ok on both computers. 5. I cannot add tunes to iPod touch ![]() How can I get the iPod touch recognised by iTunes? Many thanks in advance, and in hope Rob |

So you have an old computer up and running with iTunes and it is not recognizing your iPod touch as an iPod when iTunes is running? What version of iTunes is it running? What version of Windows is it running? What generation iPod touch do you have (use Google, you need to figure it out)? What version of iOS is it running?

The old computer, which recognized the touch, is now dead. The newer laptop (windows 7), which doesn't recognize it as a touch. As the touch is my wife's and second hand, I'm not sure of the generation. I will find out. Itunes refuses to update to the latest version for some reason.
