Hello. I recently was in the midst of repairing my 4th gen Ipod touch screen and it was all systems go. I was at the final stage of the tutorial I was following, turning the ipod on to make sure everything worked before gluing. Everything worked great but I was having trouble getting the screen to fit properly. So while it was on and still plugged in, I scraped some of the residual glue from around the edges. Next thing I know its a goner. I checked to see if I did any damage and cant see any. I there a possibility that the metal tool I was using to scrape the glue touched something and shorted it out???
