While I got it to 'click' and play music after 32 restarts, it has now reverted to no 'clicks' and no music. When I go to 'Music', I get all albums listed [now just one album uploaded to test], but when I click on an/the album, it briefly goes to that song, but in a second or two it bounces back to the 'Album' screen. Every one of threse songs have worked perfectly until this calametous event. I have restored ad nauseum. This seems like an exercise in futility. Has anyone else had this problem, and [importantly] is it found in the 4G models since I would need to replace if not correctible? Thanks for any advice.

Hm, sounds to me like the music database file on your iPod has somehow been corrupted. This can occur due to a failed iTunes sync. Are you using WiFi to sync your iTunes with your iPod?
I would simply make sure to sync my iPod with iTunes and see whether it now plays the music correctly. If not, restore your iPod to factory settings (again via iTunes) and then sync again with your iTunes library. |
