want to transfer iTunes library and the .itl file is missing 48 bytes!

Hi I want to transfer my library over to a laptop when I buy it, and when I copied the iTunes library.itl file to both CDr and CDrw it's missing 48 bytes! I've never had this problem of missing bytes when backing up files. Does anyone know why this happened, and whether the file will work on the laptop?

I used imgburn to copy the files to cd, and its usually reliable.
