i have a third generation ipod touch 32 gig and it's really messed up on me. i jail broke it a long time ago and i recently tried to do a factory reset and it got really messed up... it just stays on the apple/skull screen when i try to turn it on. and trying to restore it through the app store doesn't help either because it says it will take 4 hours to download the update and when i try the connection always times out or the ipod disconnects from the computer while plugged in :/ now it just stays stuck in either recovery mode or the turning on screen.. any idea what to do? help would be GREATLY appreciated.
