ipod problems

hi all having problems accessing itunes store to set up the kids ipod keeps coming up with an error code (-9808) when i plug it in although i can access the store on my pc any ideas would be appreciated am totally confussed rightabout now. cheers

Sounds like an odd one, but a quick search shows error -9808 is related to "Computer system time incorrect". Check your computer's time, time zone and date to ensure it is correct. Most computers these days automatically set their time using internet sources, I would ensure this feature is turned on as well.

There is a backup battery on the mother board of most computers to keep the time and some other settings while a computer is turned off. If the computer loses time over night when turned off the battery on the mother board needs replacing. Most computer shops can easily replace this battery.

Reset the date and time still no luck ####ing technology will take it to someone who knows what they are doing cheers sparkee for the tip
