Hey guys, new to iLounge here. So I'm going to be getting an iPod touch 4g soon, and I want to get a case for it. I want one that looks nice and has some protection. I don't do much, so i don't need anything too much like the otterbox.
I've looked at a few, and have liked griffin's because they come with a little microstand. The few i like are: Griffin Outfit Gloss Griffin Outfit Ice Griffin Outfit Mist Speck CandyShell Case SwitchEasy Nude Do you guys have any experience with this? Or recommend a better one? Thanks so much for the help! Edit: I also just heard about the SwitchEasy Rebel Touch. Any info on that? Last edited by KryptoKnight; 06-18-2011 at 02:33 AM. Reason: Adding case |

I've been using the SwitchEasy NUDE for 10 months now. At first impression it was really good. Minimalist case, I like it that the back is transparent, and I get the question: "Why haven't you got a case for you iPod?".
But it has downsides. All the little details at the back of your iPod (Apple logo, the disclaimers at the bottom) gets 'engraved' to the back of the case. Somehow sooner or later you get those un-removable spots from the case and the iPod, I really have no idea how those get there, and the corners of the case get cracked and break. So if this case were rated iLounge style, I'd give it a B-. It did survive a few drops, so it gives some protection. Now I'm looking to get a change in case, I'm looking at the Speck CandyShell since it has an A- rating, but I really don't like the boasting of logo at the back of the case, and it's really costly. |
