How do you remove TV Show from IPod?

How can I remove a TV show or a Season of TV shows from an IPod Touch without deleting it from my ITunes Account? I purchased a season of Star Wars the Clone Wars for my son and when I synced my daughters IPod Touch it put all of them on hers. She does not want them on there.

I can find no way on the IPod itself to remove them. When I have her IPod connected to the pc I see my under Library, but was afraid that would delete them from my account and do not want to do that. I just want them removed from her IPod only.

Thanks!

Hello

While you are scrolling through the list of movies & shows on the iPod Touch, simply do a swipe on the title you want to delete. Swipe from left to right, directly on the title and a red 'Delete' button will appear on the right side of the title you are deleting. Press it to delete it. I don't remember if it asks you to confirm or not, but once it's gone, it's gone. So much easier than connecting it and syncing.

Well, that will work until they decide to sync the iPod again. Then the TV show will go right back on there. A more permanent solution would be to plug the iPod into the computer, go to the TV Shows section in the main iPod window within iTunes, and simply de-select the Star Wars show. That will ensure that it never gets synced to the iPod somewhere down the line.

Also I believe the iPod has to be synced in order for video files to actually be deleted. People are coming forward with issues deleting content directly from their iPods. They can sync a 2GB video, delete it straight from their iPods, view the information about their iPod, and see that they didn't gain 2GB worth of free space. I haven't tried this myself but there is at least one person here with that problem and I have come across a few others as well.

Yes, very true. That is the best solution.

There is also an option there in iTunes under TV Shows & Movies, to automatically sync any new/unwatched shows. That option is probably clicked and therefore any new TV Shows or Movies you get will be automatically added unless the option is unchecked. So changing your iTunes settings is best.

What are you talking about? The dock connector cables are not attached to each iPod unit, they are universal (and ALWAYS have been since their introduction in 2003) and it doesn't matter which iPod uses which cable. That is not how computers and iTunes differentiate between iPod models.
