I recently bought an ipod touch 3rd gen. Had a few questions. There is the touch screen, glass, midsection, and digitizer. Are any of these the same or are all three different and needed?
The guy said it needed a new digitizer and he had one so I bought it from him. The ribbon conector on the digitizer is slightly ripped. Will it still work? Also he made a mistake on not getting a midsection or keeping his old one so I was wondering how I can confirm that he has bought the right digitizer anyway to check? Also would these two links contain everything i need or am i missing anything? Would this one alone work or am i missing the midsection? or this preassembled? idk if it has a gasket or if i need one? Can you make me a list to make it easy? Basically i'm down to the LCD and need to build back up. Thanks! And sorry it wouldn't let me post URLS >  I'll edit them back when i'm not a new member....
