help ipod touch wont turn on

ipod wont turn on, charge, connect to itunes, go in dfu, restore mode.


i was listening to music and turned offf. not jailboken. waranty done.

HEY TRY to connect the ipod to a usb port and hold in the sleep/wake button and the home button for about 30 seconds, should work .

How old is the ipod , if it is in the first year just call apple and they will replace it

Hmmm at this point man it sound like you would need a battery replacement . There is some you can get online with kits on how to DIY , though if your not comfortable doing this apple does offer battery replacements.

Canada = $89
US = $79

This may be your best bet

i got it to turn on. but now i get a error 13 when trying to restore. what can i do

If you can get it to power on, try putting it into DFU mode and doing a restore. Try a couple of different computers and USB cables just to make sure that's not the problem, but if you can't restore it even in DFU mode, then chances are that it's a hardware problem, as DFU bypasses the OS entirely.

i updated my itunes and when i tried installing 4.0.2 it says on itunes waiting for ipod. in dfu and restore. no luck
