I just got my first iPod Touch (2G) and didn't really want to fork out a lot of money for a fancy looking case. Just want some basic protection. Already had purchased some screen protectors and then ended up getting a 3 pack of rubbery Griffin "Immerse" cases from Wal Mart for $7.88 (about as cheap as you can get obviously). So then I was at Staples and saw an iSee hard-shell case for $10.
Would the hard-shell be better protection? I've heard some say that if it's a hard-shell that a drop could actually cause more damage because it's not really softening the blow. Where a rubbery type, even if it may seem flimsy, would do more to stop damage. Any opinions? |

I love the silicone cases. Not too bulky like the hard-shelled ones.
I have this Belkin one - http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProdu...duct_Id=463146 I really love it & it hasn't failed me. It's available at Target. |
