Problem: Cannot enter passcode on iPod Touch??

No matter what I do (I've tried plugging it into the computer/dock and trying to shut the iPod off completely), my iPod doesn't let me punch in the passcode. The "slide to unlock" doesn't even lost its whole marquee lightup thing that it usually does. and instead of a backspace key on the passcode screen, there's a "cancel." It refuses to let me type in any number.

What's going on?

this happens to my iPhone sometimes, just reset your iPod, hold home and sleep for 10 seconds and it'll reboot

Don't slide the bar, hold sleep and home for 10+ seconds and the screen will flash white and the apple logo will apear
This resets the iPod (and I assume flushes the memory)
Solves like 75% of the problems people get

when you get a message said iPod is disable mean your iPod is lock because you have entered too many wrong pass code.

The only way you can do now is to restore your iPod/iPhone

Turn on iTunes, Hold down your iPod/iPhone's home button and plug it in the PC.
Don't let go of the home button until you see an iTunes cable appeared on your iPod/iPhone and a message on iTunes asks for restore.
