It appears that iPhoto or iTunes has recently begun creating a "Photo Library" folder onto my iPod that is an exact mirror of whatever photos I have synched from my Mac, thus wasting space.
This was not always the case and I'm wondering if I did something wrong or something got corrupted the last time I synched. This folder does not show up anywhere in iPhoto when the iPod is plugged in, and I cannot find any way to edit or delete it. |

do you have "include hi res photos" checked?
This adds a folder, i believe, with the full res photos for easy movement around/better back up. It's not necessarily a "full" duplications as all photos are "scaled" to a very specific size, but does take considerable more space. This would be my only guess currently.

The include hi res option is in iTunes.
Connect your iPod, go to the photo tab. The check box is near the bottom of the window.
