Touch screen cover? - Whats your opinion

I just got my iPod Touch 32gig. Haven't even opened it yet, but I have a question.

do you use a touch screen cover (clear slip over the touch screen for protection)?

do you think it is necessary?


I got a Tumi Tech hard case (can't find a review on it anywhere) and I like the feel of it, but it doesn't have a touch screen cover.

I'm not abusive to my iPods. I keep them in my coat pocket or my briefcase. What are your thoughts?

i've just got a 32 as well.

Its got a glass front as is supposedly very hard to damage. I'm not bothering with a screen cover, havent even got a case yet! It looks too good to cover up.

Good feedback, i've heard the same about the glass front... does anyone know anything more about the glass front? Is it scrach resistant etc?

Anyone find a successful screen protector?

I have a screen on mine, but my buddy doesn't on his and he does not take care of his ipods...his screen is still perfect. He says it's pretty indestructable.
Screen just helps with some glaring.
