When will we see Touch w/ a diff. type of screen?

So how long do you think it will take for a totally different screen architecture on a Widescreen iPod video/mp3 player? I had a real headache with Gen 1 and the stuck/dead pixel issues with the LCD screens. I'm thinking we wont see an advanced better quality and different type of screen for the next 3-4 years. And if we do, the prices will be interesting. It would be nice to have an OLED screen but the only one I've seen is from Sony and it costs as much as a Prius.

And on a side note, does anyone think that Gen 2 Touches will suffer from the same dead/stuck pixel problems as Gen1 has?

Do you have an older Touch that had problems with the screens?

dead pixels has always been an issue with devices providing these kinds of functionality but I guess the warranty should cover that. My Touch does just fine for me at the moment. an OLED screen would be nice but I think ill wait till 3G for that on the Touch if they even go with it then. Until then, the screen is good enuf for me at the moment.

Sounds like you just got a bad one, I don't have any of those issues with my 1G 16gb.
