I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem of syncing the apps downloaded directly to their iPod touch to the computer. Everytime I sync my iPod it says that it's copying the app that I downloaded but then stops halfway and says the sync is completed but when looking in the apps section of iTunes, it's not there! Also each time I go to update an app on my iPod Touch it says that it's installing and then gives me an error saying it couldn't be installed and I'd need to download it to iTunes and then sync it to the iPod. I really don't want to restore it to factory settings, I have a lot of contacts and calendar stuff and don't want to restore to the backup if the bug is on that backup. HELP!!!!

if ur contacts are syncing with ur comp without any failures of any kind and the apps are all that your worries about then you should check the client that your syncing ur contacts with (I use Outlook). If they are in there then there is absolutely nothing to worry about when you choose to restore your IPT back to factory settings because you can always sync it again unless your PST goes bust in which case you've got problems.
