you don't have to get the apple care right away...just buy it when you need it, then have them do their thing.
it might save you some money upfront.

Yeah, I know my Dad knows what hes talking about and I understand that. Anyway, I was looking at that InvisibleShield, that looks pretty sweet. Does anyone have one, are they hard to apply? |

Unfortunately, the alarm goes through the headsets - not very helpful
![]() I've got an Invisible Shield and love it. Of course there've been some who just don't have the patience to put them on, but I think it's great. No bulky case running the good looks, no scratched up screen or back... just what I wanted...

Yeah, I think that would be the best, still being protected without looking fugly. So they are hard to apply?

For some people I guess. Read through the large thread on the boards here on the Invisible Shield - there are lots of suggestions (e.g., spraying your fingers to reduce fingerprints, applying in a humid room to avoid dust getting trapped, etc.). If you're patient, you can get it on right. Oh, and don't use it for 24 hours after applying and the smaller bubbles may take several days to go away... there are plenty of tips...

A bit, but once you have it on, it's worth it (at least to me). I used to be afraid to even hold it -- now I just wipe off fingerprints on my jeans...

If you call a cheap piece of plastic a "screen protector" then sure - but its basically the same kind of flimsy, cheap plastic you see on new watches or appliances when you bring them home. It's designed to protect only through shipping...
