iPod touch back to Apple for repair

Hi, I'm new to this forum.
Lemme introduce myself first, I'm Ronald and I live in the Netherlands.
I'm a owner of an iPod touch 16 GB and it's jailbroken.

Actually, it used to be, because it bricked, but I restored it back to 1.1.1 version.
I requested a repair from Apple because the Lock-button didn't work properly.
I already sent my iPod to them, so I'm waiting for repair at the moment..

So my question is, will they be able to find out the iPod used to be jailbroken?
If so, I guess I won't be getting my iPod back?

they shouldn't find anything, but post whether you get it back or not, so everyone knows if they can send off their iPod with a clear conscince or if they should just deal with whatever it is

Yep, I checked my Repair Status and they identified the issue and shipped a 'replacement product' hopefully receiving a new iPod touch instead of a refurbished one though..

So to clear things up: Don't worry about jailbreaking your iPod touch/iPhone, if you restore it back to normal again, Apple won't find anything

I also have to say Apple is really fast in this service, I requested it at november 18th, and expecting it tomorrow - november 23rd!

Yeah, I got my new iPod touch today, and it's NOT a refurbished one!
Hehe, just sharing my experience here for everyone who's sending back their iPods to Apple.
