I personally think it feels pretty cheap and not as durable as other iPod buttons.
Oops, I mean to put the "home button." |

I don't think it's cheap, I would have thought they use some surface type button but then I thought this was better as it would not go off by accident.

I expected it to be a touch-button at first, much like the 3G iPods, but I've come to like the home button. It gives a nice tactile feel after using the touchscreen for a while with zero feedback.

It is nice, I like how the shape is all pretty sleek and concave downward toward the device. It adds a nice "touch" to it.

Mine does move around a bit after I started using it for a while, but it's not alarming by any means.

i don't like how when you look at it in the sun, it looks like a dark blue. It looks like that color when you get scotch tape wet, or when you spill a little water on the side of a picture you printed from a camera.

Simple reason for having the home and power buttons are actual physical switches is so that when ipod/iphone crashes there is a means to switch the device into different modes (like recovery mode)
You need that physical bios level interupt But other than that .... yeah .... not massive fan of the button |

If you're honestly THAT nitpicky, why did you bother leaving your house? 'Cause, ya know, it gets NO easier out there! |

Don't forget the iPod gnomes. Always coat your iPod with a thin layer of myrrh and sage oils before you leave the house.

It's a tiny bit loose, but that should never be a problem because the button is entirely recessed. It's not going to get snagged on your clothes and rip off.
Better a bit loose than hard to push down due to friction. |
