I have one legitimate reason to use a stylus with the ipod touch. There is a program called "Sketches" that i am using, and I replaced a Palm Zire, that had the ability to hand write notes and drawings. I tried to use my fingers to write notes in "Sketches", but it is too awkward. Since I can write much faster than I can type on the Ipod, I will be using the stylus to jot down notes in meetings, etc... when it ships to me. The only reason I was going to get another Palm, was for that functionality. I found a stylus for $1 that will work with the touch on buy[dot]com, the item number is 208606415

And only $7 shipping. What a bargain.

Sometimes, ihate fanboys. Just because it works for you doesn't mean it will work for everyone.
I have large hands (large fingers too) and sometimes find it difficult to use the touch feature because it makes it difficult to point of select an icon or function Whig is further compouned by the fact that my large fingers makes it difficult to see what I am doing since they obscure my view. Someone like ME would love to have an iPod compatible stylus. This post was typed on my iPod and I'm sure it is quite obvious that I have some difficulty typing properly. I dont see why the tip of the stylus couldnt be made with something that is conductive similar to the tip of a finger, and it would be helpful for alot of apps.
