Question error 36

Have just got 2nd new iPod shuffle from apple and have experienced same problem can anyone explain "error 36" please all music gone!

Error 36: Basicly your connecting to a Dud USBx.x Port, (Usualy from the front of the PC),. Try connecting to a different USB Port (like those behind the PC (via a Hub maybe??), to correct this problem...
