Hello,
I am going to buy a Shuffle, and I am looking for a case to protect it from sweat. Do you think it is better to buy the Apple sport case or a silicone case like that protects the entire shuffle ? As I will be running, i don't know if the apple case is very appropriate. Thanks for your advice

Go for the one from power support usa. I've looked at them all and this is the only combo that gives you 99.9% protection and includes a clip.
I'd post the URL, if the forum would let me- I guess you're guilty until proven innocent around here. |

i am wondering the same thing....something to buy to use on the treadmill and to use kicking around (as not to damage the shuffle).
are the cheaper silicone covers good enough for this? |

I've already had one Shuffle die due to sweat. I use my Shuffle 99% exclusively for working out or doing some other activity where persperation is present. Here's my advice. BUY THE SPORT CASE!!!
The Sport Case was made for this kind of activity. It's darn near waterproof and having the control sealed off as well is a huge plus. Yes, it's a bit pricey but the construction is top notch. |

Hello,
I was wondering : isn't the shuffle bouncing everywhere when you run with the apple case ? Do you put it in your pocket ? |

look at the DLO neoprene armband and case, it is very protective, but ultimate protection probably goes to the Sport case

The shuffle has no moving parts, I would bet you can let it play from a full charge to empty and it will not break a sweat.

I used to get sweat inside my Shuffle and it would stop when I was in the gym
The (cheap) solution I've found has worked is to place a single piece of insulating tape covering the off/sequential/shuffle and battery status switches on the back I keep it in sequential mode and press the pause button when not in use - it eventually goes into standby mode after a few minutes I even bought a roll of white insulation tape from eBay to match the Shuffles case - total cost £1.50
