I have purchased the new Ipod shuffle (with the controls on the shuffle)......4th generation?
I want to give the old one (3rd generation) to my 16 year old grandson and would like to remove my "old people" music before I give it to him. How do i do this? |

Easiest way is to just restore it. Plug it into any computer that has iTunes. When it shows up on the left side of the screen, under the word 'DEVICES', just click it, you get to a summary screen where you see all the info about your iPod. Just click 'Restore'. It will erase everything on it and it will be ready for fresh new music.
