Bored with ipod shuffle

Hey guys:

I recently got a new ipod shuffle 1Gb, and whilst i'm happy with the way it works, sounds, etc, i'm really itching to do some modifications to it.

So, what can i do to a shuffle? At the moment, i'm thinking of using chewing gum packaging and turn my shuffle into a packet of gum, but is there anything else apart from changing the appearance?

Players: Headphones:
- iRiver H320 (modified) - Ultimate Ears UE-10
- iPod Nano 3G 8GB Black - Sennheiser HD 650 + PX200
- Sony Walkman NW-HD3 - Shure E2C + E5C
- iRiver X20 2GB

I know what you mean.

I feel the same way.

I took mine apart and was going to paint it but i changed my mind. I might rethink that though...

the only problem i have with that is I may not be able to see the status light.

Oh, sorry, for a suggestion you could take yours apart like me and then paint it.

I believe that there's plenty of sites for it if you search on google.

Just make sure that you don't use pliers to take the bottom off because one of the sites says to do that.

Use a razor blade or an exacto knife, then gently pull it out with pliers.

The only reason you don't want to break the glue with force is because there's a very fragile ribbon cable going from the USB connecter to the main hard drive and you may rip it if oyu pull too hard, so a razor blade is the way to go.

Cheers
