I can get it to the main menu after attaching to the computer, or even sometimes to play music by gently rapping it in my palm and it just plays non-stop...BUT, I can not get the wheel or functions to work at all (other than lock, unlock button works). I have tried all the little reset type ideas/button presses, etc. and hints, to no avail. Is there a HARD RESET method I can try or something to jog this thing back into a usable mode ? Is there a way if hooked up to ITunes to do a hard reset or something ? I can see it when connected to the computer, it is found and charges when in my little player dock, etc...so it has life, just can NOT get the wheel to function at all and let me go to playlists, etc. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks. |

You can try to RESTORE it using iTunes. Connect to iTunes, click on the iPod, click on Restore.
That might help, but it sounds like this got wet, and it is a physical problem.
