I recently purchased the new iPod Nano 16GB and didn't realise that it had the new lighting connector. Of course it doesn't connect into my ipod dock stereo - have apple brought out a connector so that people can play music on the older type of dock? They seem to only have adaptors that let you charge the ipod.
I have tries using the headphone jack, but it doesn't work with that. Also are you unable to sync your own music on the new iTunes - only music purchased from the store? |

Apple has a couple of adapters available. The reviews say the adapter does not work with most cases so you may want to consider the one with the cable.
Lightning to 30-pin Adapter (0.2 m) - Apple Store (U.S.) Lightning to 30-pin Adapter - Apple Store (U.S.) ITunes 11 works as it always has syncing both purchases and your own ripped music. If the content is properly formatted and in your library it should sync to your iPod depending on your sync settings.
