Buying a preloaded ipod

Please help!

Desperately seeking X-Mas gift

I would like to know where I can go to purchase an ipod and be able to choose songs to have loaded on it when it is shipped to me. I know this is the lazy way to do it but my husband likes the "oldies" and they are getting hard to find and take a very long time to download and install.

If anyone knows of a site where I can purchase the ipod and pick songs to have loaded on it for me please let me know.

There are no such services that will do this for a couple reasons. Primarily due to copyright issues with the music, but also because of complications with getting the music off the iPod so that you truly "own" it.

I don't know what you consider "oldies" but the iTunes store and other sources like Amazon have amazing selections, some of which may surprise you. I would recommend checking the iTunes store to see if they have things he'd be interested in, then provide an iTunes gift card along with the iPod.
