 I'd like to have all my music on self burned dvd's as a backup.I'm looking to save it as apple lossless in data form. Win 7.So far,my attempts all become mp-4 when I view them in drive d.Any help would be completely appreciated.Thanx in advance. |

When you import the CD use Apple Lossless as the Encoder. (You are using the AAC encoder.)
This can be changed in Edit->Preferences, Import Settings, change the Import Using to Apple Lossless Encoder. After you import the CDs with the new settings, then you can back up your new songs. Be warned Lossless takes up a lot of space. Something around 5 MB per minute.
