Make: Ipod nano 3rd. Age: 4 years old. I'v looked at loads of forums and iv tried everything i.e reseting it, disk mode ect. My ipod does not a appear on 'mycomuter' or 'Itunes' I have previously gone on to device manager on my windows PC and my ipod is on there but it has an exclamation mark on it. It charges but on my ipod when I plug it in it comes up with the menu not 'Do not disconnect'. It been like the for a while and it really frustrating. Please Help. Asap!

Apple has help: iPod not recognized in 'My Computer' and in iTunes for Windows
Yours sounds like section 9, but you may have to check them all.
