Red face iPod nano 2nd gen radio

How can i enable the radio feature on my ipod?



edit: It says its on but i dont find it anywhere

There is no radio on the 2G nano. The setting is for accessories that give it that function - when a compatible radio accessory is attached *then* radio shows up in the main menu items but is hidden when no such accessory is attached.

How does discovering in late 2010 that an electronics device that hasn't been available for purchase, other than second hand, since 2007 is "missing" a feature that NO iPod had until 2009 (and then only the fifth gen nano (and now the sixth gen)) qualify as horrible?

This isn't exactly what can be called a surprise.

Specifically this accessory, made by Apple themselves. I'm not aware of any third-party accessories that ever triggered this feature.

The first iPod with built-in FM radio was the fifth-generation iPod nano released last year, which has continued on to the 6G iPod nano just released recently. Those are the only two iPod models to offer that built-in capability.
