What is the Contour removable screen protector? Hard plastic or just a plastic film?

So now that these have been out for a while, what's the preferred hard case for the 4G Nano?
This is my first iPod. I travel a lot and want it to be well protected. Tipsy |

I bought the Belkin clear hardcase for my orange Nano, from Target... it is on sale this week for $17.99 regular $19.99
kind of expensive when you realize there are other clear hardshell cases available on-line for < $5 but it was what I was looking for and I had a Target gift card to burn off. it has the hard shell across the screen for protection, unlike others where the screen part of the case is open... it also has a slim plastic film to protect the wheel, which I didn't think is necessary and might even hinder use of the touchwheel I can't post links yet but search target for "belkin clear nano case" and it is the only result |

I was surprised at the iLounge review of the Belkin Remix case for the iPod Nano 4G. I decided last weekend to upgrade from the Shuffle to the 4G Nano (8gb) for my wife and I, and purchased the Belkin Remix (black) acrylic case for both. The case is sturdy and the fit is perfect, although it does take a minute or two to get the two sides aligned and snapped together, but once done, it's good to go. Anyway, just my thoughts, and although a new member, I did check the site out anon for a couple of weeks before joining, and in no way mean to question the validity of the review or reviewer. Maybe he just got a screwed up case? From all I've seen so far, this is a GREAT freakin' site.

I really like how the iSkin Nano Vibes look. The only problem is: those cases don't seem to protect the top of the Nano.
![]() I just pray that if ever drop my Nano, it won't hit the ground on the top corners. |
