How many songs can a 2GB Nano hold? Average songs lengths.

It depends on what bitrate and what format you use for your music (MP3, AAC, etc.). If you're using 128kbps MP3s, which are the most popular bitrate for MP3s, a 2GB nano can hold about 500 songs. That's with an average of 4-minute song length. iLounge actually has a calculator that can tell you approximately how many songs will fit on an iPod with numerous bitrates.
