Select check for updates from the file menu and see if that kicks it in.

does it fix the bug when listening to audiobooks - the nano kinda freezes for 10 seconds and although the audio plays you can't use the control for ten seconds. only happens with v1.2
1.1 was fine.
can you get 1.3 without itunes 7?

Yes the audiobook bug was fixed. Also, the gapless seems to be working better. It's still not a true gapless but there were very, very slight pauses between songs.

well, 1G nano isn't supported gapless playback.

new 2G nano, 5G ipod video, new enhanced ipod video only.

gapless playback doesn't make slight pause at all. so that's not gapless.

Yes I understand that completely. However, the new iTunes does search your iPod for gapless albums and the pause used to be longer. So although it's not gapless they have worked to make the pause shorter it seems.

another updater for 2G (1.1) nano came! the same story. nike+ voice support, bug fixes.

yeah, it's only working on itunes when you play songs. if you want gapless in ipod, it should be 3 recent ipods only. do you know what kind of songs should be gapless? live concert, classical, opera, or DJ mixed songs. for ordinary albums, it's not working with gapless.

What's a Nike+Voice kit? I know what the Nike+iPod is, in fact I'm planning to get one.

Nike+ Voice

It looks like the Nike+ Voice kits are to use languages other than English with the Nike+.

Here's a link to Apple's FAQ.

A voice kit is just the voices talking to you during training. The new voice kits are just other languages.
