multiple ipods

hi,

I've had a nano for a while now and its worked just fine. But then my two brothers each got their own nano a few weeks ago. Since then, everything got screwed up. When i plug my nano in it says "do not disconnect" on the screen, but it wont show up in itunes. Each of my brothers had downloaded their own itunes in their own settings, but they have the same problem, the ipod tab wont show up in itunes. I was just wondering if which usb you use matters? I searched for help and heard of autosync but i really dont know what that is, so if someone could please help me maybe, i would greatly appreciate it.

thank you<3

Did you select the Auto-Run for iTunes when you connect the iPod to the computer? AND did you install the iPod software that was on the CD? Also, you can only connect one iPod at a time with iTunes.

PS. Don't use Auto-Sync if you have multiple iPods. It'll screw up all your iPods even more.

Interesting you say that, cause I have my 40gb and 4gb nano plugged in at the same time and I am updating playlist on both at the same time.
