album art and photos don't show on my new Nano

I just got a new Nano 4gig, and when I click on options there is no Photo tab at all... thus I can't sync photos. Also, album art does not appear at all.

I checked and the Nano is windows formated; does this have anything to do with it?

(my iTunes is up to date as well...)

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!

You're not the only one! Many others are having the same problem (like me).

I am having a similar if not the same problem. There is a photo tab on the main menu for me, but when I go into the photo folder, my pictures don't show up in it. If there isn't a photo tab on your main menu at all, try going into the settings tab, then main menu and make sure that photos is turing on. If I find any info on this becuase i have a couple of threads out there, i will post it.

I think I figured it out. there is a minum amount of free space in order to sync photos to the ipod. I removed about 100 mb of songs and then I was able to sync them to my ipod.

I have a solution to the album art part. You have to add the album art in the iTunes libaray before you put it on your ipod

for album art you must put them on the songs before syncing or resyncing in this case with the ipod.

for the photos, you must go into edit>preferences>ipod and then go to the photos tab there. then, only then can you choose which folders to sync from there on.

30gb iPod photo- has been sent to my aunt. She loves it, and is very careful with it, as I've heard. Hopefully I can get it back when the battery dies or the hard drive fails.

30gb iPod video- just got it as of 12/13/05 YAY!!!
