Please choose the appropriate forum for this topic. Thank you. Ok, I'm having a problem.
I have a 4gb iPod Nano. The problem is, the iPod is only "accessible" for that short amount of time after I've plugged it in while iTunes is updating everything on it. After that, when I attempt to right click on "So-and-so's iPod" in the left frame of iTunes, and change any settings, I will finish doing so, and it will then pop up about 10 seconds later with the error, Quote:

It could just be that your iPod doesn't have "Disk Use" enabled.
Plug the iPod in and quickly open up the iTunes Prefences (It would probably be quicker to use Ctrl+, [or Cmd+, on a Mac] instead of right clicking the iPod. Those are commas, by the way). Click "iPod." For a short time at least, you should be able to check "enable Disk Mode" before the iPod disconnects. If you can do it in time, the iPod will no longer automaticaly disconnect. It'll wait for you to manually click "Eject iPod." Hopefully that's the problem/solution. |
