I heard that apple is going to be introducing a new serial number sceme so this won't work after they change the numbers. They will probably come out with a new decoder thing to tell us this stuff

I purchased mine in NYC three days after they were released....#1426, does that mean that I actually have the 1,426th iPod nano they manufactured?? Quite a low number if so, kinda interesting. I wonder why they don't know where Factory "5U" is located. Neat stuff.

5U is probably Microsoft's headquarters......
