White lines in iPod screen

Hey! This past christmas, I got brand new2 GB iPodNano. I was soo happy. But recently, I've noticed that on most of the screen on my Nano, you can see white lines running throgh the words. Is this caused by deep scratches on the screen, or something else? Should I return in back to Apple. And If so, will I get a Replaced one? My operation system is a Windows XP. If you could tell me what's going on, I would highly apperciate it.

Thanks,
FreshAzimiz

Sure, Are there scratches where the lines are through the text? And is it always in the same place?
If it is then it's probably because the screen is scratched badly. If that is the case you can't return it because it just means that you abused it. But you can use brasso or an ipod cleaner to get rid of them if that's the case.
If it's a problem with the screen apple should replace it. Just go to an apple store or call 1-800-My-apple.
