griffintechnology dot com at /products/itripnano/index.php The 'tuner' for the nano iTrip happens on the Nano screen in what must be custom software. How is this happening without an iPod SDK (software kit) ? |

who knows, who cares? seems like a nice product if the range is good, and if it sounds better than a CD player.

Who cares???
This would open up a world of software for the ipod. Anybody could then write little apps for it. For example pod2go is great, but instead of sticking all the info in crappy notes, it could for example display proper weather info, better formated movie times. You could have a nicer clock face, etc. With an SDK if you wanted to leave your ipod simple that is fine, but if you wanted to extend the functionality than other programmers could. |
