what exactly do you mean? like "harder" than the menu+selecet button? that would be a restore with the ipod updater.

Would likely depend on your definitions of course. You can reset your iPod in two ways.

Reset: Hold down menu and select button for click wheel iPods
Restore: this will erase all information from the iPod. Launch the iPod updater that can be installed and downloaded from apple.com, once installed, run it while the iPod is connected and click on restore.
