And then I turned it on.

The click wheel does not work. It only responds to menu when I turn it on. Then, when I put it on hold, whenever I unhold it it turns it off.

Hopefully these problems will be gone by 5PM tonight.

I'm going to be doing the five R's tonight if it doesn't work.

If by monday, it doesn't work I'm uninstalling the invisible shield.

So far I advise everyone to just buy an iSee or Nano Tube

now did you wait the 24 hours before turning it on, like it SAYS you should do?

Ok, so right now my nano is working fine.

If it keeps working this great I highly reccomend the invisible shield.

I'll update later.

I've been using my nano all day and so far no problems.

If it continues, I highly reccomend the invisible shield. It's so nice to be able to put it in your pocket and not worry.

Actually, it's just happened again and I think i see the problem. The skin on the front is slighty mmisplaced so a tiny bit of the click wheel is covered. If this is happening still on thursday night I'm going to try to reapply it

I don't think you can reapply it that long after it's dried. I could be wrong though.

Interview about your scratch experiences

I'm doing an article about caring for MP3 players. It sounds like scratching is one of the biggest concerns for iPods, and that no one has found a perfect solution. Anyone want to chat with me about your experiences?

Thanks,

But you're from the NY Times ... Are you going to somehow blame all of the scratches on George Bush?! Maybe he lied about the durability of the iPod too?! I recently read D*ck Cheney also has an iPod, maybe he is in the pocket of all the iPod lobbyists and Steve Case himself?!?!?!

Hello, I just got a black nano and am considering to put on invisibleshield. Would it look good? Or it would look better on a white nano? I haven't opened the box yet, so I can run back to the store to exchange.

Thanks.

I think it looks great on the black, but I've never seen one on the white, so I can't say one looks better than the other. Probably the same.

Take your time with the installation. The results will be worth the extra time you spend.

Being a very new owner of iPod nano (I haven't even taken it out of the box!), I am asking a lot of questions.

If you look at the invisibleshield's website, they now have a "new" shield for nano with the clickwheel region cut out. Should I choose this one, or the full body one?

Thanks.

I'd read the whole thread to read more about both, but I went with the cutout one. I think it's better.
