Nano select button has less feedback then the buttons around the click wheel?

I noticed that my nano's select button on the click wheel has less force feedback compared to the rest of buttons(play, forward, back, menu). I can hardly feel the click when pressing the select button. The other buttons around the click wheel has more feedback. .

I am wondering if that's normal on the nano or if it's just with mine? I have the regular 4g ipod and it's select button has more force feedback then my nano.

If you left on that second layer of protective film, then yes, the select button will be less responsive. That is because the film is sticking on to the select button, making it feel like you need to push down with more foce. Try peeling back the film, then click the select button, guarantee you'll feel the difference

Duh! I should of known. Thanks for the tip. I didn't think it would make a difference since my 4g ipod had the same film around the scroll wheel and I didnt want to risk removing the seal since i'm anal about scratching this baby up but luckily the protective film seals back on. I'll leave it on until the cases come out. I'm glad it's just the film and not my nano that's the problem with the select button.
